The Right Things Come at the Right Time

Learning to trust the timing of life

It might sound like a mantra, but that’s how life works. Why would you receive something you’re not yet ready to hold?

When you learn to trust the timing of life, everything starts to make more sense. The universe aligns with us and gives us exactly where we are at.

From the outside, something might look simple or natural—like a video of a girl wearing a dress, radiating ease. But nothing is random. What looks effortless is often the result of unseen work, of time spent shifting and growing.

Why It Matters to Trust the Timing of Life

When we see others and think, “Oh, she just feels so good in her skin,” or “That comes naturally to them,” we forget the process behind it. For a long time, I thought those people had it easy. But I’ve learned that most who carry that kind of presence have done the work—mind work, body work, self-development, fasting, practice.

When someone truly feels good in their own skin and radiates that energy, it’s not because they are gifted or more special. It’s because they’ve done the work. And that means every one of us can too.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re wishing for—it is possible. The path will include frustration, sadness, and moments where you want to give up. But there is no other way than forward.

This is why we need to trust the timing of life. The journey unfolds at its own pace, not ours.

Shifting Between Old and New: Trusting the Timing

For me, the work was about feeling good in my own skin, in my own body, and allowing myself to receive. That also meant allowing myself to be in my feminine—allowing myself to be seen. To relax in that visibility, instead of defaulting to “I am in danger if I am seen.”

That was an important part of my journey. Because even when I showed up, I used to hide. I didn’t feel confident enough, I didn’t feel good enough. At some point, those emotions stopped serving me. That’s when I decided to do everything in my power to change.

Because if I could feel that some people were truly good in their own skin—not faking it, but embodying it—then it had to be possible for me too. And so I worked toward that.

Now, around this new moon and these cosmic shifts, I feel tested:

How do I show up?
How does my body feel?

I can still feel some sadness, the leftovers of old emotions. But I can also sense the new version of me becoming more solid, more defined.

And yes, there is contrast. Sometimes in the same day—even the same hour—I shift between old and new. It can be confusing, because part of me just wants to let go of the old and fully embrace the new. But another part clings to the familiar, the comfort zone.

This is the work: living in duality. Choosing every day what you want. And this too is part of learning to trust the timing of life.

The Process Is Not a Marathon

Most days, I choose the new version. But sometimes, I default back to the old. And that’s okay. Witnessing it brings more awareness, and awareness gives me more strength to choose differently next time.

This isn’t a marathon. It’s not about getting it right the first time or all at once.

It’s a process of returning to yourself.

So let yourself fall. Let yourself stumble as many times as needed. Because each time, you get stronger. And one day, without realizing it, you’ll notice—you’re standing closer to the new you.

Reflection for you:

Where in your life do you need to trust the timing?
How would it feel to stop forcing and start allowing?
